How to Authenticate TurboSMTP Email Domain?
In this article, you will learn how to setup TurboSMTP SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for sender domain authentication. Email Domain Authentication is a set of security protocols that verify the identity of an email sender and ensure that the message is safe to open. These security standards help protect recipients from email scams and improve deliverability.
Authentication is usually accomplished by adding the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to the domain provider.
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) allows the domain owners to specify which server IPs are allowed to send messages on behalf of their domain.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) protects emails from being altered during their transit. It uses a private key and a public key to check the integrity of the messages.
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) tells the receiving server what to do with emails that fail the SPF and DKIM checks (e.g., reject, quarantine, or take no action).
Configure TurboSMTP DNS Records:
In the left menu bar, go to Settings.
-
Click on Sender Domain Verification.

How to Merge Multiple SPF Records?
If your domain has an SPF record from another provider, merge it with the TurboSMTP SPF value. Adding more than one SPF record can cause one of them to stop working. For merging, you can use the DmarcDkim.com SPF Merge tool.
Go to the SPF Merge tool.
Add your domain name and TurboSMTP SPF record.
Click the Merge SPF Values button.
The tool combines both SPF records and gives a single value.
-
Add this merged value to your DNS dashboard.
Setup TurboSMTP DKIM Record:
In the DNS dashboard, select the type TXT.
Copy the DKIM record name from the TurboSMTP DNS page and paste it into the Hostname field.
Copy the DKIM value and add it to the Content field.
-
Click the Save button.
Setup TurboSMTP DMARC Record:
To setup a strict DMARC policy, you can use the DmarcDkim.com DMARC Check tool. It gives you DMARC analytics and reports to protect your domain against spoofing.

After monitoring all incoming emails, the tool guides you through setting up a strict DMARC policy to block unauthorized senders.
Verify TurboSMTP DNS Records:
-
After setting up all records, click the Verify button next to your domain.
-
If the records are verified, you will see a green tickmark with each of them.
If the TurboSMTP SPF, DKIM, or DMARC record is not authenticated immediately, wait for at least 24 hours for the server to update DNS changes.
-
When your domain is fully authenticated, you will see a verification badge on the screen.
If the DNS records are not authenticated after 24 hours, there might be a misconfiguration in your DNS setup.
